DC confirms that Santa Claus is Faster than the Flash

A special holiday comic issue released by American DC comics, the makers of your favourite comic DC superhero comics has let the cat out of the bag on the question every kid and adult’s been asking every Christmas season; How’s Santa able to get around hundreds of homes in just one night. We’ll see.

In the brief story comic written by Bobby Moynihan who once worked as an SNL cast member and artist Pop Mhan, we see this Santa’s secret out in the open as the comic proves that Santa Claus is a better speedster than the flash. The story “Tis the Season To Be Freezin’ #1, features Captain Cold and The Flash in their attempt to save Central City’s Christmas, set aside their differences although it seems Flash is not a speedster at all when compared with Big Ol’ Santa in delivering various gifts to the many children counting on it.

Looking into “Christmas: Cold and Fast” we see a truckload full of toys which Captain Cold had initially wanted to sell in the market for a nice Christmas profit, Flash gets to come in contact with him and Captain Cold tells him in a confession that he wants to give the less privileged kids in the city a memorable Christmas morning by delivering the toys to them instead. This shows that not all heroes wear capes and Captain Cold has a good heart. Flash eventually convinces him to do something extra by refreezing Central City’s Ice rink which had shut down following the massive heatwave that occurred in the city.

The duo eventually agrees to work together to save Christmas for the kids. Captain Cold conditionally refreezes the ice rink and makes the season complete with the snow falling, while Flash does dress-up as Santa Claus to bring the toys to the kids. It’s all in the Christmas season as we see how different individuals, no matter association or creed or race set aside their differences and work together for the common good. However, the closing point brings up the “Big Man in Red” with his eight reindeer and sledge with a speed that can be rivalled, if not surpassable to The Flash’s speed force. Well, it might seem that way due to his ability to deliver toys to a lot of homes on the night of Christmas Eve. Bringing us to the thought of who would prevail between the two if they were put to the test, say a big race. It’s a very funny way to bring the story to a close, but does this now suggest that Big Ol’ Santa is a mighty speedster and can function in the same capacity as The Flash looking at his speed force?

Overall, the comic issue’s a big one for the yuletide holidays and even more memorable due to this Flash v Santa discussion as in the buildup to putting smiles on faces, we see The Flash’s speed as one of the many abilities he brings to the table in saving the world. Don’t you just love the Christmas season? Would you like to see this two faceoff in one big race? (I sure would) who do you think would win? Would like to know what you think about it.

ARCANE: What does the Ending mean for Zaun

The Arcane movie has everything every movie and game lover would like to see. It has a thrilling effect on its viewers and also has a flair for developing its characters properly.

Game adaptions seem to be difficult to pull in recent times but this one seems to hold its own. It sure deserves its high ratings and is gaining ground as the most streamed show on Netflix.

It features a lot of epic scenes and moments which kept us glued to our screens. The death of Vander sure set the tone for this movie as it allowed Silco to become the undercity ruler and separates the two sisters. While Piltover continues in its bloom which is further improved by the discovery of the hex core, an attack on their facility makes them unsettled and want to go to war with Zaun. They find a way to settle their dispute. Piltover is going to give Zaun the independence it had fought for so long, but in exchange, they wanted Silco to hand over Jinx who he sees as an adopted daughter as they know that she is the major culprit behind the attacks.

This led to a series of events that would decide the fate of both sides with jinx (by far the most unstable character) at the centre of it all. The ending left the viewers with various questions and some of these questions are;

Who Now Rules Zaun?

When Jinx believes in her head that Silco will give her up, she kidnaps him with her sister and ends up killing Silco. This leaves the leadership of Zaun vacant. There are only a few probable candidates than Vi. As the adopted and respected daughter of Vander, she sure has the respect of the people.

Another interesting candidate would be Ekko, who had already gathered several dedicated followers and had fought for the same cause Vander fought for.

Does anyone survive at the Council?

In the end just before the credits start rolling, Jinx launches a missile towards the council just before they were about to approve Zaun as an independent nation. But Jinx is angry at Piltover which is why she wants to eliminate them. If she hits her target people at the council might die but we hope that some of our favourite characters like Jayce and his newfound love interest Mel would at least survive. And even if anyone survives, would Zaun still be granted its independence? This could lead to a full-blown war between Piltover and the undercity which Vander wanted to avoid since the beginning and which Silco later discovered that he could avoid.

Conclusion

Jinx is like a ticking bomb and any major event in the show hinges on her every move. Her character is said to be built like the uncertain and probably unstable Harley Quinn of the Suicide squad. Even if independence is granted and Vi rules Zaun, she is not sure to have a peaceful country.

The end of Season 1 sure leaves a lot to be anticipated and the season 2 should sure answer our never ending questions. Did you enjoy arcane? What do you think would happen in season 2?

Who Was The Better Villain: Homelander Or Omni Man

If you are a fan of superhero action, you will love the series; The Boys and Invincible. How bloody can a movie be!

The boys which began airing on 26th July 2019 is a dark superhero film that shows what could happen if our beloved superheroes break bad or have their personal agendas. The show gives us a lot of interesting characters like Homelander, Queen Mave, A-train, Starlight and so on.

One of the characters that we can’t seem to stop talking about in the series is Homelander who we got to see as a ruthless, egocentric, lonely motherfucker with an attitude and a whole lot of childhood issues.

This made him feared among his teammates who knew exactly who he was with the rest of the population in the dark about their beloved superhero. What a shame!

Invincible on the other hand, a cartoon television series that aired on march 25th 2021 also gave us interesting characters like Omni man, Atom eve, Invincible and so on.

The show tells us about a young upcoming superhero boy finding out that his modelled superhero dad(Omni man) isn’t who he claims to be.

Both series being similar in their dark, twisted, and bloody nature is exactly one of the reasons we love them very much. This is why the faceoff between the homelander of the boys and Omni man of invincible doesn’t seem to end as to whom showed us what brutality and massacre is.

How Is Homelander Brutal

During the series, we got to see different levels of homelander and his brutality. One particular thing I noticed in the show is the fact that homelander has not landed a punch yet, probably because he hasn’t met his match since he is assumed to be strongest presently in the show.

All he does is just laser people in half and kills “the bad guys”. Some superhero he is. I guess this is why we love the show as we get to see the evil side of superheroes.

They are not your typical superheroes, they are just “supes”, nothing heroic to see there guys. We can also point out different scenarios in the show where homelander shows his evil side like the incident on the plane, how can we forget the incident on the plane, that is basically where the show took a dark and twisted form.

Lasers up and down, killing here and there. So much potential from this guy and lots more of killing to be expected from him.

How is Omni Man Brutal?

The transformation of Omni man took a very drastic turn when we first watched him exhibit his brutality when he massacred the guardians in the show living us to ponder on why a being will be so bloody and ruthless. Heads up peeps, not a pleasant sight I must tell you.

Although the question was later answered in the latter part of the show with him being an extra-terrestrial soldier on a mission on the planet, it still doesn’t justify his killings having had a family of his own with the people he kills and sees as nothing. At least, a level of empathy is supposed to be there. As we dive deeper into the show, the more he showed us his brutal side living countless dead bodies, broken homes and destroyed buildings. He is a planet conqueror, so what do you expect.

My Opinion

For those of us that have watched both shows, it was evident to me that Omni man did it for us. His display of lack of emotions was top-notch from his wife and son down to lowlife of a planet earth in his words. Lol, we’re just another planet to be conquered by the viltrumites, how funny is that.

Money Heist: Three things that might happen in La Casa De Papel from volume 5 part 2 trailer

La casa de papel popularly known as money heist is a Spanish TV series on Netflix which started airing in December 2017. Yes, it’s been that long. The series has gained popularity over the years due to the non-stop action, romance, thrills and drama that comes along with it. In the first season, we see a group of criminals who we might say had no dream being brought together by a criminal mastermind called “the professor” to rob the royal mint bank of Spain.

These criminals have taken the names of various popular cities like Tokyo, Nairobi, Berlin, Denver and Rio, has become one of the people’s favourite characters as we get to see their different badass personalities along the line in the show. Although the series started all cool and easy with most things going according to plan for our favourite criminals, the Netflix show has taken a drastic turn due to unforeseen circumstances that have left the criminals fending for their lives in a deadly battle of survival between them and the police.

Lives have been lost along the line with most death being painful, and the fight for survival continues in the final season which has two parts. With the suspenseful end of the first part, we can only wonder what will happen in the second part which I must say may not be appealing to we fans from what we have seen so far. Shits will go down and there may be no happy ending for we money heist fans, so grab your tissue papers and brace yourself for impact. The greatest heist comes to end on December 3rd 2021 and here are three things I think may happen from the released trailer.

3/3
There may be no happy ending for Denver and Stockholm

People may wonder how romance can be involved in a heist movie. Well, money heist did it and did it well. From the various love affairs seen in the show, one of fans favourite couples Denver and Stockholm may likely come to an end in this upcoming part. The character Denver which has always been seen as a hot-blooded, dense, and the cool guy still had someone for him. The story behind him having a love life was beautiful to watch since he lost his father, Moscow, to the heist he got his romance. He was able to charm the beautiful Monica Gaztambide, a secretary in his first heist in the royal mint bank of Spain, who later joined him in the second heist in the bank of Spain as Stockholm with his funny laugh and dance moves.

As we can see in the final season, there are some tensions between them and in the just-released trailer for the second part, we see a scene where Stockholm confesses her love for Denver no matter the situation. This could be before a great sacrifice of our dear Stockholm or a death of our beloved Denver because I will think that the producers might do what they want to both characters thinking they have fulfilled their part in showing us the true extent of love they both have for each other. Sad for we viewers I must say, but all we can do is watch and see.

2/3

Our favourite Dali criminals may not end up escaping with the Gold

With recent activities going on in the final season, their will to live may take the better of them. Why won’t it I will say, as staying alive seems to be more important following the death of important characters so far. Surviving is the top priority and escaping with the gold if at all they can escape just doesn’t seem to be possible, to be frank. Such a scene wasn’t even shown in the trailer. Don’t expect much guys because you going to get heartbroken.

1/3

The professor is most likely going to come to an abrupt end

The professor as we know him is seen and proven to be one of the smartest characters in the show. One of his admirable qualities is his love for his team members as he is willing to die for them. This is why I feel the producers will have to kill the professor not even arrest him because he is most likely to come out of a difficult situation as seen in the show. With the dirty cops and government running the operations, this shouldn’t be too hard for them.

Following the death of Tokyo in the first part, we can see how down and heartbroken he is, having lost so much. We can also see in the trailer that he comes to the bank to help his gang, but what can he do in this difficult situation? We might say he is the professor, he will think of something and come through for us, but I believe the writers will use this as a perfect opportunity to kill our beloved professor. This is most likely to happen, and one thing I am certain of is that his death will live millions of fans in tears.
